We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP HR Consultant to join our team and support the design, development, and enhancement of SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP development within HR/HCM modules, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP solutions for HR/HCM modules, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), and Payroll.
• Develop and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEFW objects) related to HR processes.
• Work extensively on HR infotypes, schemas, PCRs, and payroll-related developments.
• Develop and support ALV reports, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts for HR and payroll reporting requirements.
• Design and implement interfaces between SAP HR and third-party systems using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, file-based integrations, and web services.
• Perform debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of existing ABAP HR programs.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, business users, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide support for system upgrades, enhancements, and production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test cases, and deployment documents.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP ABAP development standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
• 4–11 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development with strong focus on SAP HR/HCM.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP HR modules such as PA, OM, Time Management, and Payroll.
• Strong expertise in ABAP Objects (OOABAP), classical ABAP, and HR-specific programming techniques.
• Experience working with HR infotypes, payroll schemas, PCRs, and HR master data.
• Proficiency in ALV reporting, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.
• Strong experience in interfaces and data migration using IDocs, BAPIs, LSMW, and custom programs.
• Exposure to enhancements including User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements Framework, and implicit/explicit enhancements.
• Good understanding of SAP HR security and authorizations is a plus.
• Experience with SAP ECC; exposure to S/4HANA HR or SuccessFactors integrations is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
