SAP ABAP Developer

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting SAP applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ABAP programming, a solid understanding of SAP functional modules, and the ability to translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions. This role involves working closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable SAP solutions.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement SAP ABAP programs including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF)
• Develop and enhance ABAP Objects (OO ABAP), including classes, methods, and interfaces
• Work on custom reports, ALV reports, dialog programming, BDC, and Smart Forms / Adobe Forms
• Develop and maintain interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and file-based integrations
• Perform debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization to ensure system efficiency
• Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, HR, etc.) to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions
• Support SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and production support activities
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, coding standards, and documentation guidelines
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and quality assurance processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development, test, and production environments

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–7 years of strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
• Proficiency in Classical ABAP, ABAP Objects, Data Dictionary (DDIC)
• Experience with ALV, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts
• Strong knowledge of IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancements Framework)
• Experience in performance tuning, debugging, and system analysis
• Working knowledge of SAP functional modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, or HR
• Experience with SAP ECC; exposure to S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA is a strong plus
• Understanding of HANA concepts, CDS Views, AMDP, and code push-down techniques (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to S/4HANA migration or implementation projects
• Experience in Agile or hybrid project environments
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
