We are looking for a motivated Junior SAP ABAP Consultant to support our SAP development team. In this role, you will assist with the creation and maintenance of custom ABAP programs, forms, and enhancements while learning SAP best practices from senior developers. This position is ideal for someone early in their SAP career who has foundational ABAP knowledge and a strong desire to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing and maintaining ABAP reports, including simple ALV outputs.
Support modifications to Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.
Help implement basic SAP enhancements such as User Exits, Customer Exits, and BADIs.
Contribute to screen enhancements and small UI adjustments (e.g., adding fields to standard transactions).
Work with the team to perform debugging and resolve issues in custom programs.
Support data migration tasks, including basic BDC programs or simple table maintenance updates.
Participate in documentation of technical designs and testing activities.
Collaborate with functional and technical team members to understand requirements and provide support.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
Foundational experience or coursework in SAP ABAP programming (reports, internal tables, modularization, etc.).
Basic understanding of SAP tools such as SE11, SE38, SE80.
Exposure to form development (Smart Forms or Adobe) is a plus.
Familiarity with debugging techniques.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to learn quickly, take direction, and work collaboratively.
