What We’re Looking For
We’re hiring a Sanitation Associate to help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety in our production facility. The Sanitation Associate is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing food processing equipment, production areas, and facility spaces to meet safety and regulatory standards.

This is a full-time, hourly position starting at $18/hour.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to work in a fast-paced food production environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Clean and sanitize food processing equipment, floors, walls, restrooms, and break rooms in accordance with food safety standards.

Safely handle, mix, and apply cleaning chemicals while following proper procedures.

Disassemble and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning.

Operate pressure washers, scrubbers, and other sanitation tools.

Perform sanitation tasks in cold, wet, and freezer environments.

Conduct daily sweeping, mopping, and waste removal across facility areas.

Follow HACCP processes, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Properly protect and cover electrical components during cleaning.

Adhere to lock-out/tag-out procedures when working with equipment.

Consistently use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves.

Maintain accurate and organized sanitation practices to support food safety compliance.

What We’re Looking For

Good communication and organizational skills.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to bend, stoop, climb, reach, twist, and squat to perform cleaning tasks.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.

Comfort working in environments with extreme temperatures (coolers, ovens, freezers, outdoors).

Ability to perform repetitive motions including grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine hand movements.

Commitment to punctuality, teamwork, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
