JOB SUMMARY:
The Sand Slinger & Heavy Equipment Operator reports to a Lead Hand/Foreman to assist in the installation of electrical & underground utilities. This position will require the ability and willingness to get out of the equipment and help the crew on the ground. The ability to run all types of equipment would be considered an asset.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working 5 - 6 days a week, 8 - 10 hours a day.
Operate Sand Slinger & Heavy equipment, specifically Loader and Skid steer. Other equipment would be considered an asset.
Ability and willingness to perform labour tasks with the crew.
Dig, backfill, and sand trenches with heavy equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance procedures on equipment.
Site setup and cleanup.
Adapt to changing priorities.
Work in all weather conditions
REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s License.
Ability to lift 75lbs.
Outdoor construction experience.
Competency driving standard vehicles is considered an asset.
Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, bend and walk.
Underground utility or telecommunication experience is an asset.
