VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for SAN Administrator for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:

Skillset required:

• Should have minimum 5 years of experience in handling EMC Enterprise Storage.

• Should have good knowledge and hands-on experience in administering VMAX, DMX, VNX, Clariion and Celerra storage arrays

• Should have good knowledge in SRDF, Mirror View, Snap View, Snapshots, BCV’s, Clones.

• Should have hands on experience in configuring and maintaining Cisco MDS series SAN switches

• Good skills in handling daily tasks related to storage allocation, planning, maintenance activities

• Should be capable of giving better solutions and improvement suggestions to keep the SAN environment updated to keep up to EMC standards

• Good Knowledge in using Site recovery manager(VMware) along with EMC storage

• Prior experience of working with Virtualized environments like VMware is required.

• Should have prior experience in performing Disaster recovery tests

• Experience in Data Domain will also be appreciated

• Basic Unix knowledge will be a add-on advantage

• EMC Certification on VMAX, DMX, VNX would be added advantage.

Joining time frame: Immediate.

The selected candidates shall join VAM SYSTEMS – Qatar and shall be deputed to one of the leading Bank in Qatar.
