Sample Weighing (ENTRY LEVEL ROLE – No Experience Required)

Eurofins Agro Testing is an accredited Agricultural testing laboratory that specialises in Soil, Plant and Water testing with laboratories located in Hindmarsh South Australia, Belmont Western Australia and Burleigh Heads Queensland. Our client base includes farmers, agronomists, rural retailers and research organisations with our samples originating from all across Australia.

• Entry level role with on-the-job training provided
• Full Time Fixed term 2 and 3 month contracts available (37.5 paid hours per week)

• Hourly rate of $27.07 + penalties
• Based in Hindmarsh, South Australia

The Sample weigher is responsible for the accurate and timely weighing of samples into vessels for their various test types.

Reporting to the Weighing Supervisor, the role will focus on:

• Accurate weighing of samples for our various test types
• Ensuring quality of work output so that there is no cross contamination of samples
• Ensuring set weighing KPI’s are met or exceeded
• Ensuring work area is kept clean

Shift work roster

• We operate on the following shift structures and ideally you would be available on a rotating basis Monday to Friday:• Day shift 8 hours between (7am – 6pm)
• Afternoon shift (3pm – 11pm) 15% loading applies

The ideal candidate will be:

• Reliable and ideally able to work a shift roster during peak period
• Able to follow procedures with high attention to detail
• Have excellent numeracy skills
• Willing to work as part of a team with emphasis on quality and safety
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment (e.g., fast food/hospitality/warehouse) would be highly regarded/beneficial for this role.
