Sample Storage Specialist- Entry Level

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow all departmental procedures and SOPs; understand and apply GMP regulations to daily work; document data according to regulatory requirements
• Investigate and solve sample storage problems
• Put away samples into assigned storage locations
• Pull samples from storage for return to clients
• Pull frozen samples needed for laboratory testing
• Separate sample discards into proper areas for disposal
• Serve as back-up for sample receiving

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in the US without immediate or potential future sponsorship

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies, logical thinking, and deductive reasoning

Working schedule will be Full-Time, First Shift, Monday-Friday 7am-3pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. 25% travel may be required. This position is NOT remote.
