In this role, you’ll be responsible for picking and packing samples for our clients, reporting to the Showroom Manager and based at the Chicago Showroom!
What You’ll Be Doing
Become a master of Sampling: You'll pick, pack, and process samples with precision, ensuring they reach their destination on time, every time.
Unlock the secrets of efficiency: Hitting internal and external service level agreements (SLAs) is your game. You'll streamline processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and be a champion for a smooth-running fulfillment operation.
Ensure inventory precision: Perform weekly cycle counts to boost accuracy and keep our inventory in perfect sync.
Seamlessly manage inventory: Receive inventory into the system with meticulous attention, keeping our data up-to-date and reliable.
Be the friendly first point of contact: Answer phones and direct calls to the right department, ensuring smooth communication.
Maintain visual appeal: Take charge of tag and vignette upkeep monthly to ensure everything looks its best.
Dynamic wing management: Help with wing removal and rotation, keeping our displays fresh and enticing.
Prepare for successful launches: Get ready for launch preparations, placing new wings per category, tags, and posters with flair.
What You Bring to the Table
Ability to work in the Showroom Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm
Picking, packing and shipping experience preferred
Customer Service Experience preferred
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
Previous experience with a ERP such as Navision
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Capability to move around an office setting, including walking to various locations, reaching high and low, using step ladders, and bending to pick samples throughout the day.
Ability to stand for extended periods with the ability to move
