Position Summary: Interpreting and entering client samples into computer system; managing large projects; maintaining client files; delivering rush samples; serving as information contact at receipt of samples in an efficient and detailed manner with a high degree of quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Applies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility
• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
• Demonstrates strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaboration
• Proactively plans and multitasks to maximize productivity
• Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Log samples into Lab Management Information System (LIMS) and assign testing by using a client supplied sample submission form.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate with sample and/or project managers
• Label samples and perform a label audit step to ensure accuracy of entry
• Ensuring sample integrity is maintained which includes proper storage, inventory and reconciliation.
• Read, understand, and carry out SOPs; follow all safety precautions and procedures
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly and to move easily from task to task
• Ability to use a personal computer and learn necessary programs
• Organizational ability and good judgment
• Self-motivation; excellent quality of work and attention to detail
• Communicates effectively with client staff members
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Performs other duties as assigned
 
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Working schedule will be Full-Time Mon-Fri, First Shift 10am-6pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. 25% travel may be required. This position is NOT remote.
