SalesForce Technical Consultant

• Participate in solution design sessions. Recommend alternate approaches, define technical impacts, and provide sizing estimates.
• Create technical designs for new product functionality on Salesforce Platform.
• Develop applications using Force.com, Lightning experience, APEX, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, SOAP & REST based web services, SOQL, Java, JavaScript, JQuery, DHTML, CSS, and AJAX and other technologies.
• Apply XML and Web services standards; web services implementation software.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing of new product functionality. Analyze and mitigate issues identified during testing.
• Collaborate on and inform cross-functional teams of new feature technical design, technical requirements, limitations, and implementation.
• Liaise with Salesforce.com and Salesforce.com-certified service partners on solution development.
• Follow an iterative software development methodology and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and support.
• Contribute to the development and packaging methodology for Force.com application development.
• Articulate development status to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Continually refine business acumen and establish domain / industry vertical expertise.
• Good understanding of data structures, data modeling, and database schemas is required.
• Migrate code from lower sandboxes to production environment and address issues related to functionality, integration, etc.
• Provide assistance and technical guidance to junior level developers.
• Ability to quickly connect business requirements with the functional capabilities of the application.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Must be a strong technical leader who can prioritize well and has the ability to work in environments with competing and alternating priorities, with a constant focus on delivery
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Well organized and is an exceptional communicator with his/her team, peers and leadership
• Ability to facilitate and actively participate in meetings with representatives from multiple business and/or IT units

BS in Computer Science and 5 years’ experience or 7 years’ experience.
Years of Experience:
3+ years’ experience in Salesforce.com platform and development
5+ years’ experience design and development.
Certifications: Salesforce.com Certified (Developer or Advanced Developer) preferred.
