Octopus by RTG is hiring a Salesforce QA Engineer for one of our partners

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Software Tester to execute comprehensive testing strategies that ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of software applications. This role involves both manual and automated testing, including integration and regression testing, as well as defect identification and resolution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA practices, test tool setup, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Role Responsibilities:

• Execute comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects.
• Create and conduct automated testing of software applications, including integration and regression testing.
• Identify, report, and track software defects to resolution, ensuring that all critical issue are prioritized and resolved promptly.
• Participate in the review of requirements and design documents to ensure testability. -
• Document testing results and create test reports for various stakeholders, including senior management
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, driving the adoption of best practices and standards
• Act as a subject matter expert in software testing, staying up to date on industry trends and advancements.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a Software Tester or in a QA-related role with emphasis on Salesforce development and testing
• Demonstrated experience in setting up test tools.
• Experience with automation testing tools
• Proven experience in solution testing
• QA experience with manual testing and writing automated tests.
• Has worked on multiple cloud with at least Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Community Cloud.
• Other Salesforce clouds experience: Marketing, Commerce, CPQ, Education and Analytics is an added advantage

Required Certifications:

• Certified Salesforce Administrator
• Certified Salesforce Advance Administrator
