Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer

This position sits within our Experience & Engineering business unit as part of a new International Delivery Centre. We primarily deliver large-scale website design and build projects, combining our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to help clients including Google, TikTok, eBay, ASOS, Zoopla, Twitch, Patagonia and many, many more.

We are currently in the process of creating a new International Delivery Centre in India, focussed on delivering award winning work for a range of global clients. We are looking for a number of experts who can help set the standard in the new centre whilst starting to work on a range of exciting digital projects. The role will require some shift working to accommodate working with our global teams.

JOB PURPOSE

As a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer, you will continuously put effort into keeping our customers' websites sustainable and up to date based on today’s standards. We take maintenance & security very seriously and set as a high standard for all our clients.

You will be working in a fast-paced work environment catered to our client needs and at the same time on a range of different projects, both big and small. If you enjoy a dynamic work atmosphere where no day is the same and love improving the quality of the code and services we provide to our clients then this is the role for you.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will have:

• An excellent understanding of the spoken and written English language;

• Proven track record of working effectively with global teams, understanding cultural nuances and communication styles;

• Solid experience in Agile methodologies, with the ability to foster an environment of continuous improvement and adaptability;

• Exceptional decision-making capabilities, with a focus on delivering results under tight deadlines;

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders across various levels;

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and project management, anticipating challenges and addressing them efficiently;

• Flexibility to work in European time zones, including participation in pager duty or a 24/7 rotation.

Technical skills

• Have at least 5 years of experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C;

• Completed at least one Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C project in the past;

• Are comfortable working in an existing codebase and can adapt your coding style to it;

• Are a web developer with knowledge of JavaScript / NodeJS;

• Have a good experience with web technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, and jQuery;

• Have experience with MVC design patterns;

• Have SFRA experience and understand how to use it;

• Have basic knowledge of process modelling and software architecture.
