The Role

We are looking for Senior Backend Developer with solid experience in Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC) to join our fast-paced, agile delivery team supporting global luxury brands. This is an exciting opportunity to work across multi-brand/multi-site commerce platforms, contribute to SFRA and Headless (OCAPI/SCAPI) development, and drive delivery excellence in collaboration with cross-functional teams. As a technical lead developer, you will be responsible for backend development, solution implementation, and mentoring junior developers, while working closely with architects and product owners to translate business requirements into scalable eCommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable backend solutions on Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC).

• Implement features using SFRA architecture and Headless APIs (OCAPI, SCAPI).

• Design and build integrations with third-party systems such as payment providers, CRMs, analytics, and OMS.

• Maximize use of out-of-the-box features to ensure efficiency and maintainability. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, with strong focus on performance and security.

• Conduct code reviews, ensure unit test coverage, and uphold coding standards within the team. Support sprint planning, estimation, and documentation as part of an agile squad.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product managers to ensure smooth delivery.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

• Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving production issues.

Required Qualifications

• 6–8 years of professional experience in backend web development, with 4+ years in Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC).

• Hands-on experience with Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) and Headless APIs (OCAPI/SCAPI).

• Proficiency in JavaScript, ISML, and server-side SFCC scripting.

• Experience with SFCC Business Manager customizations, job scheduling, and service configurations. Strong understanding of third-party integrations, RESTful APIs, and middleware communication.

• Solid grasp of performance optimization, caching strategies, and security practices in eCommerce.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git, and agile development tools like Jira and Confluence. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Certifications

• Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification – Required

• Salesforce B2C Commerce Architect Certification – Optional/Preferred

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD workflows, automated deployments, and DevOps practices in SFCC.

• Exposure to multi-site, multi-brand, and internationalized (i18n/l10n) implementations.

• Understanding of frontend integration layers (React, Vue, etc.) in Headless environments.

• Ability to work in agile/scrum-based squads and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders
