Your role in our shared journey
Located at our Iberia headquarters in Barcelona, you'll contribute to our mission to lead one of the Sales Teams within the assigned portfolio of accounts in wholesale channel, manage and drive a healthy and sustainable business with focus on a profitable market share growth. Prioritization of potential growth driver (winning partner in your accounts) is key. Also to manage and drive the business analysis and business planning by managing the financial process with the team. In addition, to work in close cooperation with Trade Marketing and a cross-functional team in your local market that are supporting to create brand heat at assigned accounts and best-in-class consumer activation plans.
Your key responsibilities will be:
To lead and drive the development of the ASICS brands' business and assigned Customer portfolio.and ensure consistant Implementation sales strategy.
Ensure development of the account strategies, and Seasonal Account Plans and get sign-off by Head of Sales.
Provide realistic plans and forecasts on customer performance and ensure customer compliance with agreements
Support team on external communication (annual, seasonal, quarterly Sales Campaigns). Manage and drive business analysis and business planning by managing the financial process.
Supervise sell-in meetings and the end responsible for seasonal product assortments and go-to-market plans and agree on sell-out support in conjunction with support of the Marketing and Merchandising teams.
Be ambassador for Customer Portfolio and driver for joint long-term Strategic Business and Category Plans. Be expert in understanding the Customer's business and ensure a correct follow up and accurate reporting of the Account.
Understand sales flow and actively look for reorders and closeout opportunities within the customers portfolio.
Set regular meetings with customers by priorities.
Ensure continuous monitoring of sell-out and the order book as well as reliable and cost efficient supply. Ensure customer compliance with ASICS group's contracts and terms.
Work close to Customer Service and Financial team to assure an excellent customer management to the accounts.
Measure progress on own KPIs. Report to all superiors along guidelines (and monitor all reports).
Market and competitors: Monitor and report on customers and competitors activities within Key account and propose/initiate/take actions to maximize Asics sales and market share.
Ensure Customer compliance with ASICS contracts and terms.
Represent customer portfolio internally as ambassador towards sales and marketing communities on global and local level, managed all interfaces.
Personnel: Manage a team of Key Account Executives and Sales Reps by setting team objectives, targets and guidelines. Manage and drive business analysis and business planning by managing the financial process with the team.
Develop the functional and core skill of direct reports on and off the job through regular 1-2-1’s coaching and mentoring. Ensure smooth cooperation of all direct reports along all interfaces.
You have the following experience and skills:
University degree preferably on Business or Sports Econonics, International Management, Marketing and/or Sales.
7-8 years relevant work experience. 5 years of industry experience preferably Sports, FMCG. Strong industry knowledge across footwear, apparel and accessories or FMCG background.
Industry experience preferably sports, fashion or FMCG.
Proven leadership experience.
Well-rounded Sales expertise and ability to work cross-functionally.
Negotiating & Influencing skills.
Analytical/strategical skills to analyse data and develop and improve strategic decision making and implementation.
Presentation skills and Strong communication skills: English and Spanish written and oral.
Advanced in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Availability to travel.
