We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Sales Support Engineer to join our team in Istanbul. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the sales process, ensuring high-quality proposals, and delivering excellent customer experiences through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities / Tasks
• Support the preparation of quotations, commercial offers, and cost estimates
• Assist with technical clarifications in coordination with Business Lines
• Collaborate closely with sales support teams, factories, and internal stakeholders
• Support Sales Managers and sales channels to meet customer and business requirements
• Monitor order execution, with attention to costs, margins, and risks
• Use CRM and sales tools to manage customer information, requests, and opportunities
• Handle customer inquiries, including coordination with indirect sales channels
• Contribute to pre-sales activities and offer management processes
• Develop product knowledge and build expertise in the assigned product line
Your Profile / Qualifications
• University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Environmental, Chemical, or similar)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar function
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in sales processes and tools (ordering, pricing, CRM systems)
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to collaborate across functions, levels, and cultures
• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to engage effectively at different organizational levels
• Good understanding of international business environments and customer expectations
• Solution-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Resilient, proactive, and can-do attitude
• Team player with strong networking and negotiation skills
