Role Summary
As a Sales Specialist, you will manage end-to-end wholesale sales operations, from handling incoming client queries through seasonal order execution, supply chain coordination, invoicing, logistics, and sales reporting. The role requires strong cross-functional coordination, commercial accuracy, and ownership of timelines, forecasts, and receivables.
Key Responsibilities
1. Wholesale Sales Operations
Handle incoming wholesale inquiries and support client onboarding.
Prepare, validate, and distribute wholesale sales tools and seasonal order forms.
Receive, consolidate, and analyze seasonal wholesale orders.
Prepare client-specific implementation files.
2. Seasonal Order Execution
Execute seasonal order forms in line with T&A calendars.
Track and follow up on T&A milestones with internal teams (design, development, sourcing, planning, logistics) and external stakeholders (clients, suppliers).
Validate sales tools against final confirmed order sheets.
3. Supply Chain & Logistics
Manage end-to-end wholesale supply chain execution.
Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure deliveries meet client timelines and contract terms.
Oversee inbound and outbound stock for wholesale, including variance tracking and resolution.
4. Finance, Invoicing & Receivables
Handle invoices with clients and suppliers as per contract terms.
Maintain receivables tracking, forecasting, and follow-up in line with client contracts.
5. Forecasting & Reporting
Prepare and maintain sales and cash flow forecasts for the wholesale department.
Maintain accurate wholesale sales data and trackers.
Produce bi-weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports.
Support sales teams with ad-hoc sales and performance reports.
6. Product Development & Costing
Manage custom product development requests for wholesale clients.
Work on product costings and support supplier negotiations in coordination with sourcing teams.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong organizational and project management skills.
High attention to detail with commercial and financial accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across functions.
Solid understanding of wholesale operations, supply chain, and logistics.
Proficient in sales reporting, forecasting, and data management.
Strong communication and follow-up skills.
Preferred Experience
3–5 years of experience in wholesale operations, sales coordination, or commercial roles.
Background in fashion, sportswear, or retail is a plus.
Experience working with suppliers, logistics partners, and international clients.
