Porsche South Austin is looking for Sales Consultants to join our team of experience sales professionals!

Job Summary:

 

The Sales Consultant has an entrepreneurial and customer centric mind-set and builds up long-term relationships with customers. It is in the Sales Consultant’s mind to accompany customers through the entire customer journey, focused on finding the most appropriate product for each individual customer’s need.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities – Managing individual pipeline and providing updates to management.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

Greet customers arriving at the dealership.

Maintain existing customer relations, generate leads, and focus on successful contract closing.

Showcase the dealership’s vehicles and explain their features and warranties to customers.

Offer meaningful consultation for customers, including the most appropriate configuration and financing options.

Answer customers’ questions about vehicles, financing and the purchase process.

Accompany customers on test drives, collecting licenses and documentation beforehand per best practices.

Negotiate prices and trade-in values for customer’s vehicles.

Coordinate with the finance department to determine each customer’s financing and ownership options.

Contact past customers to ensure they are satisfied with their vehicles.

Is the customer’s partner of trust through every step in the sales journey.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

Self-Confidence and persuasiveness.

Analytical skills (Target-driven and business oriented).

Excellent communication skills including active listening.

Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.

 

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Business and sales experience in the premium and luxury-sector.

Required: 5-7 years of luxury automotive experience. 

Experience with Cox Auto Suite, Microsoft Office Suite and walk-around video creation encouraged.

 

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
