As a Sales Performance Leader at TAL, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping more Australians protect what matters most. By coaching and developing sales agents, you’ll build capability, drive consistent performance, and support strong customer outcomes. You’ll lead with clarity, care and accountability—balancing commercial results with genuine investment in your people. Through hands‑on coaching, feedback and role‑modelled conduct, you’ll create an environment where your team can thrive, meet targets with integrity, and contribute meaningfully to TAL’s commitment to trusted, responsible insurance.
 
In this role you will:
• Drive sales performance by building team capability to consistently achieve submission and completion targets.
• Lift conversion quality through disciplined pipeline management and effective use of leads and contact strategies.
• Develop sales capability through regular coaching, feedback and call calibration that improves individual performance.
• Set clear expectations and actively manage performance to address gaps and sustain high standards.
• Build an engaged, motivated team through recognition, incentives and a strong performance culture.
• Uphold conduct and compliance standards to ensure trusted customer outcomes and business integrity.
• Proven experience leading a sales team and helping people consistently achieve their performance goals.
• A strong coaching mindset, with the ability to develop sales capability through practical feedback and support.
• Confidence using performance data to identify opportunities and turn insight into action.
• Sound understanding of contact centre or sales environments, including CRM and dialler‑based workflows.
• A collaborative and people‑focused leadership style that builds trust, accountability and engagement.
• Commitment to doing the right thing for customers, with a focus on quality, compliance and ethical outcomes.
