Sales & Marketing Intern

The Sales and Marketing Intern is a 6-month, full-time role supporting GSSI’s sales and marketing teams to ensure smooth operations and effective execution of initiatives. This position is responsible for supporting the marketing and sales team with a variety of tasks, including Salesforce lead administration, collateral and website updates, social media platform coordination, presentations, events, and more. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and demonstrates initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Salesforce lead data, ensuring accuracy and timely updates on incoming open leads.

Prepare and edit PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use.

Coordinate updates, printing, and distribution of marketing materials.

Work with Marketing Content Specialist to schedule social media posts across platforms and engage with GSSI followers, as appropriate

Assist with content creation (e.g., social posts, email copy, and marketing collateral).

Work closely with the Senior Marketing Specialist to support event coordination.

Assist with email campaigns and website updates.

Provide administrative support for marketing and sales initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience or prior coursework in marketing, social media, or communications

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

Interest in marketing and willingness to learn new tools

Experience with content creation or graphic design tools

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
