Our client is the authorized distributor for Luzon of a well-known and trusted brand in the lubricant industry in the Philippines, which operates a manufacturing plant in Davao City. The company is currently expanding its distribution in Luzon. This is a great opportunity to lead sales growth and establish a strong market footprint in Luzon for a well-established and trusted brand.
Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by actively promoting and selling the lubricant brand to new and existing customers. This is an individual contributor role with no people management responsibility, focused on identifying and developing business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and effectively communicating product value to meet customer needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ability to market the lubricant brand to its customers products or services to customers
• Find potential clients, and maintain a client database
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, and encourage repeat business
• Explain product features and benefits, and how the lubricant oil can help customers
• Present products, negotiate contracts, and close sales
Area: Luzon
Target Market: OEM, Distributors / End-Users/Industrial user like construction, shipping and machinary companies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
• Proven experience in product sales and marketing
• Sales management experience within lubricant companies is required
• Hands-on experience in conducting field sales, including client visits, prospecting, and on-site presentations
• Strong confidence with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Solid understanding of lubricant oil products
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close sales effectively
• Preferably with a strong network among distributors and end-users
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours due to the field-based nature of the role. 9 hours a day; including 1 hour lunch break. Occasional weekend work may be required as needed.
Location: Quezon City but this is fieldwork
Company car: Provided strictly for business purposes and must be returned to the office after use. Alternatively, if the
employee uses their own vehicle for business-related activities, a monthly gasoline allowance may be offered.
