Windcave is a global leader in payment technology, offering a unified platform that consolidates all payment solutions into a seamless ecosystem. Operation in 42 countries with offices in 13 locations, we process billions of transactions annually, providing businesses with a comprehensive payment solution through a single provider. Our team of over 450 professionals supports more than 57,000 merchant locations globally, driving innovation and ensuring scalability in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. Join us to shape the future of global payments and experience the cutting edge of financial technology.
About the role:
We are seeking a Sales Executive to join Windcave in our London (Southwark) office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ambitious, motivated, and eager to build a career in sales within a fast-growing FinTech business.
You do not need prior payments specific experience. What matters most is attitude, communication skills, resilience, and a willingness to learn.
You’ll be a true sales hunter, focused on identifying and developing new business opportunities, speaking directly with prospects, building relationships, and learning how to close deals. You’ll receive training, support, and clear progression opportunities as you develop your sales skills and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and engage potential customers through outbound activity, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling
Support the generation of new business opportunities across Windcave’s payment solutions
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects, working towards clear sales targets
Qualify leads and run your own sales conversations, managing opportunities independently while being supported by senior team members as needed.
Learn to confidently present Windcave’s solutions, with training provided on products, pricing, and the payments landscape
Accurately update CRM systems and track activity and performance
Consistently work towards and exceed individual KPIs and targets
Support with representing Windcave at relevant industry events, trade shows, and networking forums, increasing brand visibility and generating high-quality leads.
About you:
Legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom (we do not offer sponsorship at this time);
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A positive, resilient mindset and a willingness to learn
Confidence speaking to people over the phone
Comfortable working towards targets and KPIs
Self-motivated, organised, and eager to succeed
What success looks like
High levels of outbound activity and engagement
Consistent pipeline generation
Progression in confidence, product knowledge, and sales skills
Clear development towards more senior sales roles within Windcave

Recruitment Process
We review applications on an individual basis. If you seem like a good fit, we will arrange an initial phone call. If the initial call was a success we will settle on a date and time that works for you best and invite you for an interview at our office in Southwark/Waterloo. This is an opportunity for you to see if you would love to work with us and for us to see if you could become a part of the team. We value open and honest conversations and are committed to making you feel as comfortable as can be throughout the entire process.
