Role Purpose
EXA Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting sales executives in solution selling to prospects and existing Finance clients. The Sales Engineer executes strategic deals, models business cases, and designs solutions to meet customer requirements.
Key responsibilities
Design, document and articulate complex telecommunications solutions.
Develop technical responses and strategy for customer requirements
Clearly articulate technical elements of the EXA Infrastructure value proposition
Maintain a high level of technical knowledge of EXA Infrastructure products and services
Maintain knowledge of competitive landscape.
Contribute to the creation of case studies, white papers, and other technical documents
Understand and effectively utilize EXA Infrastructure’ resources
Provide high quality customer service during pre-sales, implementation, and post-sales activities
Understand and abide business requirements of EXA Infrastructure and the resulting parameters (deal math)
Understand tracking, billing and other OSS systems
Provide status reports to sales team and management as required.
Individual Profile
Strong experience in telecommunications pre-sale engineering
Experience selling to customers within the Financial Services, High Frequency Trading, or Insurance sectors
Good knowledge of selling international services
Current knowledge of fiber optic and DWDM industry trends and technical developments.
Experience in developing and conducting meetings/workshops with client stakeholders
Account Planning mindset that will underpin long term growth with customers
Exceptional relationship management skills
Strong presentation skills
Ability to work remotely
Ability to travel up to ~40% of time.
