SWOT Hospitality Management Company is seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Director for Corfu Palace, one of our distinguished properties. This role is crucial in driving sales performance, increasing market penetration, and ensuring Corfu Palace maintains a strong presence in the competitive hospitality market. The Sales Director will lead all sales initiatives, build strong relationships with clients, and develop tailored sales strategies that align with the hotel's brand and business goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies specifically tailored to Corfu Palace to maximize revenue and occupancy.
• Lead and mentor the Corfu Palace Sales team, fostering a results-oriented, customer-focused culture.
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, and event planners.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to synchronize efforts and drive business growth.
• Analyze local and international market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare and present regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and sales budgets to senior management.
• Represent Corfu Palace and SWOT Hospitality at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to boost brand awareness.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Sales, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven sales leadership experience within the hospitality sector, ideally in luxury or resort properties.
• Strong sales track record with demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop sales teams to achieve high performance.
• In-depth knowledge of hospitality sales channels including leisure, corporate, and MICE markets. Knowledge of luxury travel consortia and preferred partners programs.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages, especially Greek, are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel as needed to represent the hotel and company.
• Knowledge of luxury segment
• Previous experience with luxury hotel brands and operating systems would be considered an asset
• An established network within the travel trade, both nationally and internationally
