Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support capital attraction and revenue growth for Kernel and its portfolio products by sourcing, qualifying, and nurturing institutional leads across TradFi and DeFi.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities within the cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem through outbound outreach, inbound lead follow-ups, and strategic account mapping.
• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by scheduling discovery calls, product demos, and introductory meetings for the Business Development and Sales teams.
• Market Outreach & First Touch: Act as the first point of contact for potential customers and partners, delivering concise value propositions and educating prospects on the company’s solutions.
• Partnership Support: Assist in identifying and engaging potential partners such as exchanges, crypto projects, financial institutions, and technology providers; support partnership discussions and follow-ups.
• Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to create tailored pitches, proposals, and outreach sequences aligned with target customer segments and use cases.
• Market Research & Account Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify new target accounts and verticals; share insights to improve sales messaging and targeting.
Qualifications:
• 2–6 years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or a related revenue-focused role.
• Good to have: 1–2 years of experience in the blockchain or cryptocurrency sector.
• Demonstrated ability in negotiation, deal support, and closing commercial opportunities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to build and nurture relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and relevant industry regulations; familiarity with DeFi and emerging Web3 trends is a plus.
