About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Cold Email Expert to own and optimize our entire cold email outreach process from start to finish. You'll be responsible for generating a consistent pipeline of qualified leads for our sales team by building highly targeted campaigns, managing deliverability, and continuously testing and improving performance. This role is critical to our growth and requires someone who understands the technical and strategic sides of cold email at a high level.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full cold email process A–Z, including:
• Prospect research, list building, and audience segmentation
• Setting up and managing cold email tools, inboxes, and domains
• Writing and optimizing cold email copy and multi-touch sequences
• Managing domain warmup, deliverability, and inbox health
• Launching, monitoring, and optimizing campaigns in real time
• A/B testing subject lines, messaging, CTAs, and send schedules
• Tracking performance metrics and reporting on campaign results
• Delivering qualified leads consistently to our sales team

Requirements:
• Proven experience managing cold email campaigns with measurable results (open rates, reply rates, meetings booked)
• Proficiency with cold email platforms such as Smartlead or Instantly (required); familiarity with Lemlist or Woodpecker is a plus
• Experience with lead sourcing and enrichment tools like Apollo, Clay, Hunter.io, Snov.io, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of inbox setup, domain management, SPF/DKIM/DMARC configuration, and deliverability best practices
• Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling, personalized outreach that drives replies
• Experience in B2B lead generation is required
• Experience in financial services, lending, MCA, or business funding is a strong plus, but not required if you can demonstrate strong cold email results in other B2B sectors
• Data-driven mindset with a focus on testing, optimization, and continuous improvement
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English

Target Audience

You'll be reaching out to small business owners in the United States, primarily in industries that commonly seek working capital and business funding. Understanding the pain points and decision-making process of this audience is key to success in this role.

Working Hours

This is a full-time remote position. You should be available to work US hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST) to collaborate with our internal team and align campaigns with US-based prospects. Some flexibility on overlap hours may be considered for the right candidate.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is measured by:

• Consistent delivery of qualified leads for the sales team
• Strong and improving campaign metrics, including:
• Open rates
• Reply rates
• Positive reply rates
• Meetings booked

• Well-maintained deliverability (healthy inboxes, minimal spam issues, strong sender reputation)
• Continuous testing and optimization of campaigns to improve performance over time

Specific monthly KPIs will be established, but this role is ultimately judged on lead quality and consistency, not just volume.

Assessment

Candidates will be asked to complete one or more of the following:

• Write a sample cold email sequence for our target audience
• Propose a cold email strategy tailored to our business, including list-building approach, tools, messaging angles, and campaign structure
