Job description
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities at VyOS Networks. This role focuses on executing outbound sales strategies, engaging with potential customers to understand their networking needs, and ensuring a strong pipeline of high-quality leads. The SDR plays a key role in supporting the Growth team by aligning outreach efforts with marketing campaigns and sales objectives, ultimately driving customer acquisition and expanding market adoption of VyOS solutions.
Responsibilities
Research and identify potential customers through various channels, including social media, databases, and networking platforms.
Execute outbound communication strategies, including cold emails, calls, and LinkedIn outreach.
Qualify leads by assessing their fit with VyOS’s target customer profile.
Nurture prospects through follow-ups and personalized engagement.
Schedule discovery calls or product demos with senior sales representatives.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HubSpot CRM to support data-driven sales strategies.
Collaborate with the Growth team to align lead generation efforts with marketing initiatives.
Provide feedback to improve outreach messaging and prospect engagement strategies.
Stay informed about VyOS solutions, networking technologies, and open-source innovations.
Participate in sales training sessions to enhance sales skills and industry knowledge.
Requirements
Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects effectively.
Persuasive and confident approach to outbound sales and lead qualification.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in HubSpot CRM or similar sales automation tools.
Ability to research and identify potential customer needs and market trends.
High level of self-motivation, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to achieving goals.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer engagement role (preferably in a B2B technology or SaaS environment).
Experience with outbound sales strategies, including cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting.
Prior experience working with
HubSpot CRM or similar tools is a plus.
Familiarity with networking, IT, or open-source technologies is an advantage but not required.
Work Conditions and Compensation
Fully Remote Work: This 100% remote position allows you to work anywhere.
Flexible Work Schedule: We offer a flexible work schedule that allows you to manage your time while ensuring effective collaboration across our globally distributed teams. The official workday starts between 8 AM and 11 AM (employee local time) and ends between 5 PM and 8 PM (employee local time). While flexibility is encouraged, occasional work outside typical hours may be required to align with colleagues in different time zones. Open communication and availability for cross-time-zone meetings are essential for seamless teamwork.
