Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a critical role in driving the top of the outbound sales funnel through a dual approach—managing agency partnerships for lead generation and executing your own outbound prospecting efforts.
You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying high-potential prospects, booking discovery meetings, and seamlessly transitioning opportunities to the Account Executive team with complete context. This is a high-ownership role where your direct contribution to pipeline growth is highly visible.

Key Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation
• Execute outbound strategies through cold calling, personalized email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
• Target decision-makers across industries such as fashion, apparel, FMCG, and retail.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
Agency Partner Enablement
• Identify, onboard, and train external agency partners on ideal customer profiles (ICP) and value propositions.
• Enable partners to generate high-quality leads and contribute to pipeline growth.
Prospecting & Data Management
• Leverage tools like Apollo.io, Seamless.ai, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and engage prospects.
• Maintain an accurate and updated database of contacts and accounts.
Messaging & Engagement
• Craft tailored outreach messaging for senior stakeholders, including CXOs, operations leaders, and supply chain heads.
• Continuously refine outreach strategies based on performance data and feedback.
Lead Qualification & Handoff
• Qualify prospects based on defined ICP criteria.
• Schedule discovery meetings and provide detailed context for seamless handover to the Account Executive team.
CRM & Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of all activities, leads, and interactions in Salesforce CRM.
• Ensure timely updates and strong pipeline hygiene.
Collaboration & Optimization
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to improve targeting, messaging, and campaign effectiveness.
• Iterate on outreach strategies and partner playbooks to maximize conversions.
Requirements
• 2–4 years of experience in outbound B2B SaaS sales (SDR/BDR roles).
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding lead generation targets.
• Strong cold calling skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders confidently.
• Experience creating and optimizing email and LinkedIn outreach campaigns.
• Ability to onboard and manage external partners effectively.
• Hands-on experience with prospecting tools such as Apollo.io or Seamless.ai.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and pipeline management.
• Strong data management, research, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Hindi proficiency is a plus.
• Self-driven, analytical, and accountable mindset.
Performance Metrics
• Consistently generate a minimum of 15 qualified leads per month across outbound and partner channels.
• Maintain high meeting booking rates and measurable pipeline contribution.
• Ensure 100% CRM hygiene with timely updates on all activities.
