Role Overview
As the Sales/Design Lead, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing ones. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for the full sales cycle—from prospecting and proposal development to closing and ongoing relationship management. You will collaborate closely with our system designers and technical teams to deliver tailored, scalable AV solutions for clients across commercial and luxury residential sectors.
This is a client-facing, consultative sales role that also requires an eye for design and the ability to translate customer needs into impactful technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
Generate and nurture leads through cold calling, referrals, and networking
Conduct client meetings to understand needs, present solutions, and close deals
Create Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Scope of Work documents for design team
Collaborate with system designers and project managers to deliver customized solutions
Perform site visits and quality inspections during installation phases
Stay up to date with trends in AV technology and competitor offerings
Maintain accurate records using CRM tools and submit weekly progress reports
Represent the Liaison brand at industry events, trade shows, and client functions
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
Who You Are
A natural relationship-builder with strong communication and presentation skills
Technically savvy, with the ability to visualize solutions and explain them clearly
Highly organized and self-motivated, with strong follow-through
Resilient, competitive, and able to handle objections with professionalism
Passionate about technology and its ability to transform environments
Required Skills & Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in B2B outside sales, ideally in AV, tech, or related industries
Familiarity with AV systems, pro audio, or commercial integration (preferred)
Strong understanding of sales fundamentals and consultative selling
Experience using CRM tools for tracking contacts and managing pipelines
Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and client meetings
Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary of $40,000 plus commission (earnings up to $120,000+)
Mileage and client-related expenses reimbursed (case-by-case approval for others)
