Background

• We are building a Securities company in Japan to cover local FIs. Before trying to compete on flow products, we would like to push larger, tailor-made trades leveraging on BBVA’s global product capabilities.

• The hire will focus on creating senior relationships with FI clients in Japan, in coordination with the head of the Securities company.

Role Summary

• Support the development of BBVA’s franchise in Japan

• Contribute directly to client acquisition, idea generation, and transaction origination

Requirement

• 3 years of Global Markets sales experience

• Proven exposure to cross-asset solutions (FX, Rates, Credit, Structured Products)

• Fluent Japanese speaker

• Ability to manage client relationships independently and originate deal with an entrepreneurial spirit
