About Your Role
The Safety Manager is responsible for leading and enforcing safety programs across construction projects to ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, standards, and project requirements. This role oversees site safety performance, conducts audits and investigations, and implements proactive measures to prevent incidents. The Safety Manager works closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and ensure all activities are performed in accordance with OSHA, MWAA, and project-specific safety protocols.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Construction Management, or related field preferred
What You’ll Need to Get the Job Done
10 to 15 years of safety management experience in aviation or heavy civil projects
OSHA 30 required; CHST, CSP, or equivalent preferred
Strong knowledge of OSHA, FAA, and airport safety requirements
What You’ll Do
Lead safety engineering and inspection activities
Develop and implement site-specific safety plans
Conduct audits, investigations, and corrective actions
Ensure contractor compliance with MWAA and OSHA requirements
Coordinate with airport operations and stakeholders
Provide safety training and onboarding
