Join Ashtead Technology as a ROV Tooling Technician as we continue to grow our presence in Norway. In this role, you will ensure all equipment is prepared, tested, labelled, identified, stored safely, calibrated, and packaged appropriately before delivery.
What you'll be doing
Inspecting, testing, repairing, and preparing of ROV Tooling prior pre and post hire.
Supporting the commissioning of new ROV tooling equipment.
Fault reporting on missing / damaged equipment and carrying out required repairs.
Completing work orders in the ERP and customer commercial invoice records.
Providing Technical support to customers and attending mobilisations and site interface testing a needed.
Support ROV Tooling in offshore locations and on call support when required.
What experience you’ll bring:
Trade certificate (skilled worker certificate) in a mechanical discipline and/or equivalent relevant industry experience.
Extensive knowledge of ROV Tooling, Torque Tools, Valve Packs, Cutters, LAOT’S, IHPU’S.
Previous experience in a technician role undertaking repair, maintenance and testing of ROV Tooling equipment, preferably in a subsea environment.
Solid understanding with hydraulics/electrics, ability to read schematics including electrics and fault finding
Ability to read and implement engineering drawings.
