We are seeking a Room Attendant to join our dynamic team. Role Overview:
The Room Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of all guest rooms and surroundings, the administration of the coffee stations and assigned offices. Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints. Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms. Create an Exceptional Memorable Experience (EME) for each and every guest while interacting on a daily basis. position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
Main Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the cleanliness of all guest rooms and surroundings, the administration of the coffee stations and assigned offices.
Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
however busy and whatever time of day.
Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety, fire and hygiene policies and rule and regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar role
Hospitality experience an asset
Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment and to pivot quickly, responding with flexibility to changing priorities and work demands.
Ability to act with discretion, tact, and professionalism in all situations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
Work with minimal supervision.
Read and understand all instructions, complications and hazards of chemicals used.
Must be in good physical condition.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to walk, stretch, push, and bend.
Must be able to lift more than fifty (50) lbs.
Must be able to work around dust, fumes and chemicals.
