Kelowna, BC | Full-Time, Permanent | On-Site
Flynn Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Roofing Superintendent to join our Kelowna Branch and support commercial roofing operations across the region.
This is a key leadership role within Roofing Production, reporting to the Branch Manager and working closely with the Senior Superintendent. The successful candidate will oversee field operations, support Foremen, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to Flynn standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Scheduling and coordinating roofing crews and manpower
• Supporting and supervising Foremen, who manage site crews
• Conducting regular site visits and attending site meetings
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with General Contractors
• Coordinating materials, equipment, and job site logistics
• Ensuring crews meet or exceed Flynn’s safety standards
• Troubleshooting job site issues and supporting Foremen with problem resolution
• Managing productivity, project execution, and contractual performance
• Being available outside regular hours as required (salaried role)

What We’re Looking For:
Required Experience & Qualifications
• 3–5 years of commercial roofing experience (required)
• Prior experience in a superintendent, foreman, or leadership role within roofing
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Strong leadership, organization, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple job sites
• Basic computer literacy (email, Outlook, Word – company systems will be trained)
• Valid driver’s license
Work Schedule & Travel:
• Standard hours: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (40 hours/week)
• Travel: Approximately 10%, primarily within Kelowna (typically same-day or short overnight trips)
• This is a salaried position with on-call availability as needed
