Roofing Specialist

Position Summary

The Roofing Specialist serves as the on-site representative for scheduled activities set by the Inside Sales team, including inspections, adjuster meetings, contract signings, and lead generation.  This position focuses on inspecting roofs, assisting with the insurance process, working with adjusters and inside sales, guiding customers through contract and color selections, and ensuring all work meets the homeowner and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Roof Inspections

Performs detailed roof inspections to identify damage or repair needs.

Take photos, measurements, and notes to document findings.

Review inspection results with the Inside Sales team.

Collaborate with the Inside Sales team to support homeowners and answer questions during the insurance claims process.

Insurance Coordination

Attend insurance adjuster appointments with Inside Sales to ensure all damage is properly assessed.

Communicate clearly with Inside Sales throughout the claim process.

Provide accurate information and support to help customers navigate insurance claims smoothly.

Contracts and Project Setup

Assist homeowners with contract signing and collect initial payments.

Help customers select roofing colors, styles, and materials.

Ensure all job details are confirmed before the project starts.

Final Inspection and Quality Check

Conduct final inspections after installation to verify quality and completion.

Ensure the homeowner is satisfied with the finished product.

Report any issues and coordinate any necessary follow-up work.

Lead Generation

Conduct door-to-door visits and phone outreach to generate new business and introduce potential clients to SRA and explain our roofing services.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required to support team and organization goals.

Qualifications 

Experience in roofing, construction, or home improvement preferred.

Strong understanding of residential roofing materials and installation practices.

Excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Proficient in basic computer applications and project tracking software.

Ability to read and interpret job scopes, contracts, and blueprints.

Proven history in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to build trust and communicate clearly with homeowner and team members.

Must be able to climb on roofs and lift up to 50 lbs. as part of your role.

Valid driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation is required.

Majority of work takes place on job sites, while some work is completed in the Highlandville, MO office.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
