Roofing Sales Representative

We are seeking a Roofing Sales Representative in Addison, IL with a salary range of $55,000–$85,000 per year plus commission, based on experience. This full-time position requires 5+ years of direct sales experience, preferably in commercial and residential roofing. The Roofing Sales Representative will acquire new clients, manage existing accounts, and provide high-quality estimating services for roofing projects in Addison and surrounding areas. This hands-on role involves on-site roof assessments, client meetings, and supporting operational and sales objectives for a growing roofing contractor in the Addison, IL market. Candidates must be self-motivated, safety-conscious, and have a proven track record in sales performance.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to provide accurate estimates, proposals, and roofing solutions in Addison, IL.
• Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and estimate requirements.
• Conduct cold calls and outreach to develop new commercial and residential roofing leads.
• Perform on-site roof inspections, including core sampling and minor patching as needed.
• Manage and maintain lead sources to ensure quality and quantity of potential clients.
• Collaborate with the roofing team to maintain operational efficiency, sales volume, and competitive market pricing.
• Complete additional assignments as directed by management while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• 5+ years of direct sales or business development experience, preferably in roofing.
• Proven success in generating and closing new business opportunities.
• Knowledge of commercial and residential roofing systems and materials.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work hands-on on roofs, including climbing ladders and performing inspections safely.
