We’re looking for a Service Estimator to join our growing Service Division. In this role, you’ll
be responsible for preparing accurate, timely, and competitive estimates for service and small repair projects. You’ll collaborate closely with service account managers, coordinators, and field staff to ensure every proposal reflects both client expectations and company profitability. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of roofing systems, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for precision and client service. 

What You’ll Do 

Prepare detailed estimates for service repairs, small projects, and maintenance work 

Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to determine project scope and cost 

Collaborate with Service Account Managers to align scopes and expectations with clients 

Interpret drawings, specifications, and site conditions to prepare accurate proposals 

Source and verify pricing for labour, materials, and equipment 

Track quotes, follow-ups, and awarded work using internal CRM systems 

Support field teams with scope clarifications or cost-related questions 

Maintain organized estimating records, documentation, and communications 

Review completed work with operations to analyze cost accuracy and improve future estimates 

Continuously update unit pricing, material costs, and production benchmarks 

What You Bring 

3+ years of estimating experience (roofing, construction, or service-based industry preferred) 

Strong technical understanding of roofing systems and construction practices 

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills 

Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work 

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM or estimating software 

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines 

Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset 

Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and accuracy
