As a Rollout Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end deployment lifecycle, encompassing the definition of strategic plans, strict coordination across all environments, and the preparation of comprehensive risk and fallback strategies. Furthermore, you will serve as the central communication hub for all rollout activities, ensuring quality assurance through testing and validation, and establishing operational excellence for a smooth transition post-go-live.

Your Tasks:
Rollout Planning & Coordination• Define rollout strategies and schedules for new features, releases, and updates.
• Coordinate deployment activities across multiple environments (test, staging, production).
• Ensure compliance with client and project-specific rollout processes and timelines.
• Prepare and maintain rollout checklists, risk assessments, and fallback strategies.

Stakeholder Communication• Act as the main contact for rollout-related topics for clients and internal teams.
• Communicate rollout status, risks, and progress to stakeholders.
• Align closely with Project Managers and Product Owners.

Quality Assurance• Support acceptance testing and sign-off processes before go-live.
• Monitor rollout execution and validate successful deployment.
• Document rollout results and lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Operational Excellence• Manage dependencies between teams and systems during rollout.
• Ensure smooth handover to operations and support teams post-rollout.

Your profile:
• You have a completed degree in media technology, media informatics, medical informatics or business informatics.
• You have at least 3 years of professional experience as a product owner, project manager or rollout manager
• You have the ability to analyse and interpret JSON/ REST APIs
• You have knowledge of at least one programming language & basic knowledge of system architectures.
• You have an understanding of and enjoy designing front-end and back-end solutions
• You have a sense of design and user interfaces
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA like MS Planner/Project, Excel, and ticketing/documentation systems (e.g. Jira)
• You have the ability to work in a team and enjoy communicating with clients
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Ability to manage multi-vendor environments and subcontractors
• Knowledge of quality assurance, health & safety standards
• You have English skills at C1 level in writing and speaking.
