Job Description
LaRiviere Inc is looking for experienced Rod Busters in the Boise, Idaho Region, who specialize in reinforcing concrete with steel rods, or rebar. The ideal candidates must be able to read and understand blueprints, as well as have knowledge of how to use the proper tools to secure the rebar in place. In addition they must also be able to lift and move heavy objects and be comfortable working at heights. Safety is of paramount importance in this job, and workers should be familiar with the proper safety protocols.
Rod Buster Duties
Prepare and install reinforcing steel for poured concrete structures
Safely operate various power and hand tools to measure, cut and shape steel
Assemble and tie steel pieces together using wire and clamps
Install steel pieces according to blueprints or oral instructions
Monitor the quality and safety of their work

Operating power tools

Rod Buster Requirements
Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
Must have knowledge of proper safety procedures
Must be able to read blueprints
Must have basic carpentry and welding skills

Most jobs are local in the Boise, Idaho Region. Some regional travel may be required dependent on projects.
