Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Surgical Step Down unit, providing specialized care to postoperative patients in a dynamic academic medical center environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess postoperative patients requiring intermediate care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Requirements:
Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure: Active New York State RN license; Current BLS certification (or willing to recertify).
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an acute care facility.
• Technical Skills: EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
