Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking an RN Renal Vascular for a top Healthcare client.
This specialized nursing role delivers compassionate care and treatment to adult patients focusing on renal and vascular conditions within a collaborative, patient-centered model. The RN is required to perform thorough clinical assessments, utilize autonomous decision-making to guide treatment, and act as a vital patient advocate while ensuring excellent clinical outcomes and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Job Responsibilities
• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s renal or vascular health status and analyze assessment data to determine priority diagnoses or issues.
• Identify expected, individualized outcomes and develop a plan of care that is appropriate for the patient and the situation.
• Act as an advocate for patient safety and collaborate effectively as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and their families regarding medications, procedures, and treatments specific to renal and vascular health, providing ongoing support.
• Ensure effective use of time, supplies, and equipment while administering treatments and interventions, including managing dialysis access or specialized vascular monitoring.
• Provide direct care and treatment to ill, injured, or recovering adults, utilizing autonomous clinical assessment skills.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and educational efforts accurately and promptly in the patient's medical record.
Requirements:
Education
• Nursing Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Experience
• Minimum of one (1) year of Registered Nurse experience is required.
• Acute Care experience is NOT required. Candidates with experience in LTAC, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Rehab, or Corrections are accepted.
Certifications/Licenses
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license is required. Compact license holders must obtain the Florida license within 60 days of relocation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) is required prior to start.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Skills
• Proven ability to make autonomous clinical assessments and manage treatment protocols effectively.
• Strong advocacy and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Expertise in patient education, particularly regarding medications and chronic condition management.
