Job Description
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the OR setting utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition. Communicates effectively with all members of the health care team, as appropriate, about changes in the patient's condition or response to treatment. Assists with the maintenance of surgical equipment and inventory. Participates in performance improvement activities.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION Training commensurate with RN licensure and RN License to practice in NC required. Must have minimum 1 year RN experience in surgery. CPR according to CCH policy BLS required). ACLS, PALS preferred. Basic computer skills. Able to work on smoke-free campus
CATARACT experience a PLUS.
