RN Manager – Trauma Program | Nashua, New Hampshire
Full-Time, Days (No Weekends) | Permanent Position
Pay Range: $47.30 – $65.20/hour (based on experience)
Estimated Annual: $98,000 – $135,000
Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance: Available case-by-case
Overview
A leading hospital system in Southern New Hampshire is seeking an accomplished RN Manager for its Trauma Program. This position leads all aspects of trauma services at a Level III Trauma Center—ensuring continuous readiness, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance while fostering collaboration across emergency services and regional trauma networks.
The ideal candidate is a clinically skilled, data-driven nursing leader passionate about advancing trauma system performance, staff development, and patient safety.
Responsibilities
• Lead all operational and quality initiatives within the trauma program
• Serve as liaison among EMS, fire, police, and regional trauma partners
• Collaborate with the Trauma Medical Director to ensure alignment with ACS and state guidelines
• Oversee trauma registry data collection, case reviews, and performance improvement
• Direct preparation for trauma designation and site visits
• Respond to trauma activations during administrative hours, ensuring clinical excellence
• Maintain current knowledge of trauma care standards, policy updates, and new technologies
• Mentor staff and facilitate ongoing education related to trauma response
Required:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Active RN license (NH or Compact)
• Minimum 3 years of recent trauma or emergency care experience in an acute setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Preferred:
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
• Prior leadership or program management experience
• Familiarity with trauma registry management and ACS verification processes
