• Salary Range: $38.52 – $57.77 per hour (based on experience)
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse – ECMO Program Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and ongoing operations of an established ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) program in Atlantis, Florida.
This role works closely with perfusion services, mechanical circulatory support teams, and cardiovascular critical care teams to ensure program excellence, clinical quality, and operational efficiency. Experienced ICU nurses with strong cardiovascular backgrounds who are looking to transition into ECMO coordination are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
• Support and coordinate daily operations of the ECMO program.
• Collaborate with perfusionists, cardiovascular critical care teams, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of ECMO program policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Monitor program quality metrics and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Serve as a clinical resource for ECMO-related care and education.
• Provide staff education and support related to mechanical circulatory support and ECMO practices.
• Participate in case reviews, program audits, and quality assurance activities.
Required
• Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligible compact licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Strong ICU experience with cardiovascular or critical care background.
Preferred
• ECMO experience.
• Experience working with mechanical circulatory support teams.
• Demonstrated leadership or coordination experience in a critical care setting.
