Risk & Research Lead (Post Listing)

Responsiblities:
• Incident Handling
• Lead the response to major incidents (e.g., hacking or security breaches, CEX collapses, or other market disruptions) affecting Binance or listed projects.
• Oversee root cause analysis and assess business impact, ensuring timely, accurate, and transparent communication to key stakeholders.
• Coordinate across internal business units and external partners to minimize impact and drive effective, sustainable resolutions.

• Research and Risk Management
• Oversee the comprehensive evaluation of listed token performance using both quantitative and qualitative indicators — including adoption metrics, on-chain data, project development, and community sentiment.
• Identify and assess emerging risks across listed tokens and drive proactive risk mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate and approve project-related requests (e.g., rebranding, mainnet integrations, swaps) through a risk-based framework.
• Deliver concise and data-driven analytical reports summarizing findings, risks, and recommendations for senior management.
• Lead initiatives to strengthen risk detection, enhance monitoring frameworks, and improve escalation procedures throughout the listing lifecycle.

• Operations & Process Management
• Oversee new token listings, ensuring operational readiness, cross-functional alignment, and adherence to internal governance standards.
• Manage collaboration with multiple teams to support ongoing operational activities (e.g., airdrops, cross-chain swaps, migrations).
• Continuously optimize workflows, SOPs, and reporting mechanisms to drive operational efficiency and process transparency.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
• 7–10 years of proven experience in research, risk management, consulting, or related fields, with experience in crypto or financial markets strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with on-chain data analysis and a strong understanding of blockchain ecosystems and tokenomics.
• Deep knowledge of crypto market structures, including DeFi protocols, centralized exchanges (CEX), and cross-chain ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and make sound, data-driven decisions under pressure.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; capable of identifying root causes and designing structured, scalable solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Curious, self-driven, and passionate about continuous learning in the rapidly evolving crypto and AI landscape.
• High level of integrity, ownership, and resilience in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
