Responsibilities:
Junior member of the Bank’s second line Risk and Compliance Teams supporting the day-to-day tasks of the Deputy Head of Compliance and the wider Risk team, including:
• Maintaining the Bank’s registers on conflicts of interest and outside business interests, insider lists, and breaches, and carrying out periodic reviews of the same;
• Assisting with risk event reviews and breach management
• Helping to maintain the Compliance & Risk Function’s policies and procedures, including the
overall, Policy Framework
• Keeping on top of the Compliance Calendar and supporting in the timely completion of
Compliance tasks
• Supporting the compilation of management information and other information gathering, in
issuing monthly and quarterly governance reports for the Bank’s governance committees;
• Logging and filing all requests that come into the Compliance Advisory mailbox and
• Providing further administrative assistance, as required.
Required Experience::
• Recently qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Fresher) with strong academic
credentials.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple
priorities simultaneously.
• A self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and sees them through to completion
without needing close direction.
• Comfortable working with data, registers, and trackers; able to spot patterns, anomalies,
and gaps.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to engage clearly with
stakeholders at all levels.
• Curious and tech-savvy, with an interest in using digital tools and AI to improve how
compliance work gets done.
• Adaptable and open to taking on new and varied responsibilities as the team's needs
evolve.
