Data management

•    Identify valuable data sources and automate data collection processes.

•    Prepare the data to be used for modelling.

•    Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data. 

•    Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.

•    Present information using data visualization techniques.

Business acumen 

•    High understanding of retail products and in particular credit card business.

Model development and management

•    Develop credit risk models for the retail portfolios (e.g., credit decisioning, PD, LGD, EAD, IFRS9) ensuring modelling process meet internal and regulatory standards.

•    Ensure the model outputs are fit for purposes for daily business usage, underwriting decisions, risk appetite decisions and strategy design.

•    Maintain and continue to upgrade the models based on model users and regulatory feedback and on-going model performance monitoring.

•    Support and work closely with ERM team for stress testing and ICAAP submissions.

Model monitoring and implementation: 

•    Ensure the model remain accurate, reliable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

•    Perform user acceptance test to ensure models are appropriately implemented within the direct system environment.

•    Respond to ad-hoc portfolio analysis requests in a timely manner.

•    Constantly realigns models to monitor performance with the aim to provide on-going guidance on all lending activities for the retail portfolios. 

•    Develop, implement, and monitor risk models for retail lending portfolio.

•    To support team in efficient delivery against requirements set forth by Management as well as external regulators.

Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Banking, Engineering or other related areas

Credit Risk Modelling,SAS ,Python programming certifications

At least 5 years hands on credit risk modeling experience

Strong understanding of retail products and in particular credit card business.

Experience in statistical model development (including machine learning), using tools such as SAS, Python and R.

Knowledge of risk modelling regulations such as Basel, IFRS9, MMSG regulations.
