What we are looking for:

We are seeking an experienced RF Test Engineer to join our growing team. In this hands-on RF test development role, the candidate will work closely with the wider engineering and production teams to support test solution development for a range of products from conception through to volume production.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge, skills, and experience of RF Test equipment and LabVIEW/TestStand, to develop and maintain automated test solutions.
• Improve and maintain test capability, and analyse, diagnose, and resolve technical issues as required.
• Deliver verified and documented solutions in line with defined technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Plan, organise, and manage own time to meet project requirements, and report project progress and risks to project teams and team leaders.
• Perform data analysis and produce both internal and customer-facing reports and presentations.
• Involvement with the complete solution lifecycle, including requirements review, system design, specifications, instrumentation selection, solution development, implementation, data recording and reporting, testing, training, support, instructions, and change management.


Requirements:
• Relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent plus sufficient level of RF experience (5+ years).
• Strong hands-on measurement and diagnostic skills using electronic and RF test equipment at microwave frequencies and above.
• LabVIEW and TestStand development experience.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be a flexible and self-motivated individual able to interface effectively with internal and external customers to fulfil project requirements.
• Hands-on experience within a volume electronics manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Hands-on experience with serial communication protocols such as I2C/SPI is beneficial.
