Job Description

For almost 50 years, Williams F1 Team has been at the forefront of one of the fastest sports on the planet, being one of the top three most successful teams in history competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. With an almost unrivalled heritage of engineering and racing F1 cars and unforgettable eras that demonstrate it is a force to be reckoned with, the British squad boasts 16 F1 World Championship titles to its name.

Since its foundation in 1977 by the eminent, late Sir Frank Williams and engineering pioneer Sir Patrick Head, the team has won nine Constructors’ Championships, in association with Cosworth, Honda and Renault. Its roll call of drivers is legendary, with its seven Drivers’ Championship trophies being lifted by true icons of the sport: Alan Jones, Keke Rosberg, Nelson Piquet, Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve. The team has made history before and is out to make it again with a long-term mission to evolve and return to the front of the grid.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Reward & Benefits Manager to ensure the smooth, compliant, and efficient operation of all reward, benefits, and recognition processes across the organisation.

This role is central to maintaining data integrity, delivering cyclical reward activities on time, managing benefit providers, and supporting a high-quality employee experience. You’ll provide expert operational support to the wider Reward and People & Culture function while contributing to a data-driven, insight-led reward strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Reward Operations

• Lead the operational delivery of all reward processes, including annual pay review, bonus cycles, and benefit renewal windows.

• Maintain accurate reward data within People systems, ensuring compliance, governance, and data integrity.

• Produce high-quality analytics, dashboards, and regular reports to support decision-making.

• Act as operational owner for Workday Advanced Compensation, partnering with People Systems on enhancements and issue resolution.

• Support the Head of Reward with modelling scenarios, costing proposals, and evaluating reward outcomes.

Benefits Management

• Manage the full suite of employee benefits, including health, wellbeing, insurance, pensions, and lifestyle benefits.

• Lead relationships with benefit providers and brokers, ensuring excellent service and value for money.

• Support the development of flexible benefit options tailored to diverse employee demographics.

• Oversee renewals, remarketing cycles, scheme design changes, and escalated queries.

• Ensure benefits are clearly and effectively communicated to employees.

• Monitor benefit uptake and effectiveness, producing insights to enhance the overall offering.

People Experience & Governance

• Provide expert guidance to People & Culture and line managers on reward and benefit policies.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements (e.g., NMW, salary sacrifice, pension regulations).

• Support Cost Cap optimisation initiatives with accurate reporting and data provision.

• Resolve complex reward and benefits queries, delivering exceptional service.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

• Lead or support reward-related projects such as system upgrades, benefit launches, policy reviews, and process optimisation.

• Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce manual work, and enhance employee experience, including leveraging AI in partnership with the People Systems team.

• Contribute to building a data-driven, insight-led reward function.

About You

You will bring:

• Proven experience in reward, benefits, or HR operations.

• Strong knowledge of reward and benefits practices, processes, and legal/regulatory considerations.

• High proficiency in HR systems (e.g., Workday) and advanced Excel skills.

• Excellent analytical capability with experience turning data into actionable insight.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

We fuel our team with a competitive benefits package, including generous holidays, vibrant staff events, a subsidised onsite restaurant, and a range of car schemes. Stay energised with 24/7 access to our gym and free fitness classes like outdoor boot camps, Pilates, and Yoga. With free parking and sprawling green spaces, you’ve got the perfect space to recharge and refocus.

Join a fast-paced, future-thinking team that’s driving innovation and pushing past engineering boundaries.
