Revit Drafter (Longwood Location)

An established and growing design-focused organization is seeking an experienced Revit Drafter to support commercial construction projects in the Central Florida area. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented drafting professional with a strong background in commercial building documentation and BIM coordination.

Position Overview
The Revit Drafter will be responsible for preparing detailed construction drawings and managing BIM models for commercial projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of commercial building standards, multidisciplinary coordination, and construction documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities :
• Produce detailed and accurate commercial construction drawings using Autodesk Revit
• Develop, update, and maintain BIM models across project phases
• Coordinate drawings and models with architects, engineers, consultants, and project managers
• Interpret conceptual designs and convert them into precise technical documentation
• Incorporate redlines, revisions, and design updates efficiently
• Ensure compliance with applicable Florida building codes and commercial standards
• Participate in coordination meetings as needed
• Maintain organized digital files and documentation for each project

Required Qualifications :
• Minimum of 5 years of professional Revit drafting experience
• Demonstrated experience working on commercial projects (office, retail, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, or similar)
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction detailing and documentation standards
• Familiarity with Florida building codes and permitting requirements
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications :
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or a related field
• Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection tools
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
